Return & Refund Policy

Elemental Color produces pigments in small batches using specialized materials and processes. Because these pigments are sensitive to handling and contamination, returns are limited, but we aim to be fair and reasonable in resolving issues.

Returns (Unopened Products)
We accept returns for unopened, unused products in their original packaging.

- Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery
- Products must be unused, unaltered, and unopened
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error

Opened products are generally not eligible for return, with the exception of documented defects (see below).

Defective or Incorrect Products
If you believe a product is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery, even if the product has been opened.

Eligible issues include:
- Damage during shipping
- Incorrect item sent
- Clear manufacturing or handling defects inconsistent with the product description

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos of the product and packaging

If a defect or error is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or refund, including shipping costs where applicable.

Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method once the return (if required) is received and inspected.

- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the issue is due to our error
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after approval or inspection

Batch Variability & Expectations
Because our pigments are produced in small batches, minor variation in color, texture, or behavior is normal and does not constitute a defect. Product descriptions are intended to reflect the expected range of material behavior.
